DHAKA, Jan 16, 2026 (BSS) - Jamalpur U-17 district football team made winning 
start in the Shitalakha zone of U-17 National Football Championship beating 
Mymensingh U-17 district football team by a lone goal held at Jamalpur 
distirct stadium in Jamalpur today (Friday).

In the day's match, Abur Hossain of Jamalpur scored the decisive goal for his 
team in the 92md minute of the match.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Jamalpur District, Mohammad Yusup Ali was the 
chief guest in the opening ceremony.
 
Jamalpur Police Superintendent Dr. Chowdhury Md. Jaber Sadek was present as a 
special guest.

 Bangladesh Football Federation executive member Sayeed Hasan Kanon was also 
present there and inaugurated the championship.
