DHAKA, March 30, 2026 (BSS)- Center back Afeida Khandakar expects a fighting
match against host Thailand in their opening group match of the AFC U-20
Women's Asian Cup.

The team's condition is very good at the moment. Players recovered well after
the two practice matches and they are fresh in mind and expecting a fighting
match against Thailand, said Afeida through a video message here today
(Monday).

Commenting about their preparation, she said they are taking preparation in
the camp as per the instruction of the coach ahead of their first match.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh U-20 Women's National Football team successfully
completed their second official training session at Alpine training camp
(Pitch 2) in Bangkok.

The session featured a combination of structured warm-ups, technical drills
and possession-based exercises, followed by match-oriented scenario-based
training.

The coaching staff, led by the head coach, worked closely with the players to
simulate real-game situations both in and out of possession aiming to enhance
tactical understanding and decision-making on the field.

Despite the hot and humid conditions in Thailand, the players demonstrated
great enthusiasm, discipline and commitment throughout the session.

All players remain in good physical condition, with no serious injuries
reported within the squad.
