Kings earn emphatic win in Federation Cup

DHAKA, Apr 7, 2026 (BSS) - Bashundhara Kings registered their first win in the Federation Cup Football beating Arambagh Krira Sangha by 5-0 goals that resumed after a three weeks break held at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta Stadium in Cumilla today (Tuesday).  

In the proceeding, Brazilian forward Dorielton Gomes scored a brace while forward Mohammad Faysal Ahmed Fahim, Nigerian forward Emmanuel Sunday and midfielder Md Sohel Rana supported him with a lone goal each for Kings who led the first half by 2-0 goals. 

Dorielton opened account scoring the first goal for Kings in the 16th minute while Fahim doubled the lead scoring the second goal in the 22nd minute of the match.

After the resumption, Sunday further widened the team’s margin scoring the third goal in the 52nd minute while Dorielton scored his second and fourth goal for Kings in the 55th minute.
Sohel Rana completed the tally scoring the fifth goal for Kings in the 67th minute of the match.

The day’s win saw, Kings raised their tally to five points from three matches while Arambagh yet to secure any points playing the same number of matches.
