DHAKA, April 23, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh enjoyed an excellent day in the Asian Beach Games kabaddi, securing dominant victories in both the men's and women's events held in Sanya, China today.

The men's team delivered a commanding performance, defeating Syria by 54-23 points. Bangladesh maintained control throughout the match, underlining their strong position in the tournament.

From the outset, Bangladesh played with aggressive intent, and the result was virtually decided in the first half as they raced to a 29-8 lead. Their raiders repeatedly broke through Syria's defensive line to collect points, while the defenders remained disciplined and effective in shutting down opposition attacks.

Earlier in the day, the Bangladesh women's team also registered a convincing win, overcoming Thailand 51-34. The Tigresses outplayed the strong Thai side with confidence and consistency, a result that is expected to boost their morale ahead of upcoming fixtures.
