HABIGANJ, March 16, 2025 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an accused in Tajul Islam murder case from Bahubal upazila of the district last night.
The arrested was Maruf Mia, 37, son of Abdul Khalek, a resident of Dakshin Daulatpur village of the upazila.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force from Shayestaganj camp conducted a raid in Karangi Bridge area around 10:30 pm and arrested Maruf, said RAB-9 Media Officer Additional Superintendent of Police KM Shahidul Islam Sohag.
Later, Maruf was handed over to Bahubal Thana police.
