SAVAR, March 15, 2025 (BSS) – Ashulia thana police today recovered a stolen truck
filled with rods after 8 days and arrested two robbers in connection with the incident.

Additional police super of Savar circle Shahinur Kabir revealed this in a press conference at the Savar police station compound.

The arrestees are - Anwar Hosen, 45 and Nur-E-Alom, 48.

Police of Ashulia station said, “A group of robbers looted a truck filled with rods at Kabirpur
area of Ashulia on Nabinagar-Chandra highway on March 8 in disguise of RAB. Following the incident, based on secret information, police conducted a raid in Bank Town area of Savar on Saturday night and arrested the two robbers with the stolen truck. A case has been filed in this connection.”

The arrestees will be sent to the court and an operation is underway to arrest the remaining
escaped robbers, police added.
