DNCRP fines 4 businesses in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, March 17, 2025 (BSS) - The Directorate of National Consumers Right Protection (DNCRP) today fined 4 businesses Tk 2.8 lakh for violating consumers' rights in city's Chaktai area under Bakalia thana.

A mobile court of DNCRP fined the businesses on various allegations including processing food in unhygienic conditions, drying products in the open sun and not keeping price list.

Led by DNCRP deputy director Mohammad Faiz Ullah, assistant directors Anisur Rahman and Rana Deb Nath were present during the drive.
