JAMALPUR, March 30, 2025 (BSS) - In accordance with the Islamic Foundation's guidelines, the main Eid-ul-Fitr jamaat (congregation) in Jamalpur will take place at 8:30am on the central Eidgah field in the town.

Extensive preparations are underway to ensure a smooth and festive celebration of Eid. 

The authorities concerned have been working diligently to accommodate the large number of worshippers expected to gather for the special prayers.

Residents from Jamalpur and surrounding areas will participate in the Eid jamaat, which marks the culmination of Ramadan. To ensure the comfort and safety of the attendees, all necessary arrangements have been put in place.

The prayers will be moved to the Model Mosque in the town if the weather turns adverse, said the authorities.

Mufti Abdullah, Imam of Baro Masjid, will lead the Eid prayers at the congregation.

The authorities encourage all attendees to arrive early and be mindful of any changes in venue due to weather conditions.
