THAKURGAON, March 31, 2025, (BSS)- Eid-ul-Fitr congregation was held in Thakurgaon with the participation of a large number of devotees in a festive mood.

The largest and main congregation of the district was held at the central Eidgah of Thakurgaon Government Boys High School, Bora Math, at 9 am.
 
The congregation was led by Maulana Md. Khalilur Rahman, Imam of Thakurgaon Bora Mosque.

Around 30,000 people from various walks of lives  including district administration officials and political and social figures, offered Eid prayers and exchanged greetings after the prayers.
 
In addition, 10 Eid congregations were held in Sadar Upazila, including the district Ansar and VDP grounds, Police Line grounds, and BGB camp grounds.

Thakurgaon Deputy Commissioner Ishrat Farzana, Superintendent of Police Sheikh Zahidul Islam and District BNP General Secretary Mirza Faisal Amin extended Eid greetings to the people.

Besides, The Eid congregations were also held in upazilas of the district in a festive mood.
