MADARIPUR, April 1, 2025 (BSS) - Four persons were killed in a fatal road accident near Babukha Bridge of Kutubpur in Shibchar upazila of the district today.

The deceased were Mithun, 25, son of Md Shahjahan Talukder, of Munsikandi village in Shibchar upazila, Ridoy Dhali, 19, son of Babul Dhali, of Shariatpur, Ramzan, 21, son of Manju Sardar, and Oli Khan, 22, son of Iskan Khan, of Joynagar area in Jajira.

Quoting locals, police said the accident occurred when three motorcycles collided in the area leaving Mithun and Ridoy killed on the spot and injured two others.

Later, locals rescued them and sent Ramzan and Oli to Sadar Hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
