One minor child drown in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, June 8, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy drowned in a pond at Ramdia Purbopara village in Kashiani upazila of the district today.

The deceased was Sifat, 01, son of Md Rabiul Sheikh of the village.

Police said the children fell into the water body while playing alone this morning.

Family members rescued him and rushed to Upazila Health Complex where Sifat was declared dead.
