MANIKGANJ, June 10, 2025 (BSS) –Police recovered the hanging body of a Dhaka University student from his house today. 

The deceased was identified as Shakil Ahmed, 24, son of Nasir Uddin Ahmed of village Dakkhin Jamsha under Singair Upazila of the district and a final year student of Fine Arts Department of the university. 

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Singair police station Toufique Azam said the body of the student was recovered from his house and sent to the morgue of Manikganj Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
