Law and order committee meeting held in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, June 15, 2025 (BSS) - The monthly law and order committee meeting of the district administration was held at deputy commissioner's conference room in Jamalpur today.

Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Hasina Begum chaired the meeting, while Additional District Magistrate AKM Abdullah Bin Rashid conducted the session.

Participants at the meeting noted that the overall law and order situation during Eid-ul-Azha remained satisfactory. However, concerns were raised over the rising trend of drug abuse among the youth. They stressed the need for a mass drive against drugs.

Superintendent of Police Syed Rafiqul Islam, Deputy Director of Local Government Mousumi Khanam and Secretary of the District BNP, Advocate Shah Md Wares Ali Mamun spoke at the meeting.
