Huge drugs seized at Hili border

DINAJPUR, June 15, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in 
separate drives seized a huge amount of drugs worth Taka 12 lakh from the 
Hili border area of the district today.

On a tip-off, a team of the BGB-20 Battalion conducted separate drives in 
285/7 S station area at the main pillar of the Hili border from morning to 
12.30 pm and seized 6,360 pieces of narcotic injection ampoules and 86 
bottles of phensedyl, said Subedar Asim Marak, company commander of Hili CP 
Camp.

Sensing the presence of the BGB, the drug peddlers fled away leaving the 
drugs. 

The BGB source said that the drug traffickers were illegally bringing the 
recovered drugs from India.
