BOGURA, June 15, 2025 (BSS) - A truck driver was killed in a head-on 
collision between two trucks in Chakkanu Bazar area of Haripur in Shibganj 
upazila of the district in the early hours of today.

The deceased was Jamir Uddin, 45, son of late Sattar Sikder, a resident of 
Jhargram in Jhenaidah district.

The accident took place around 3 am when a sand-laden truck collided head-on 
with a poultry feed-laden truck in the area, leaving sand-laden truck driver 
Jamir dead on the spot, said Shahinuzzaman, officer-in-charge (OC) of 
Shibganj Police Station.
