MUNSHIGANJ, June 16, 2025 (BSS) - A team of joint force in a drive arrested 
two brothers with firearm and drugs from Veti Hoglakandi area under Sadar 
upazila of the district early this morning.

The arrested were Mizan Bepari, 40, and Farid Bepari, 50, sons of Abdus Salam 
of Veti Hoglakandi village under Char Kewar union of the upazila.

The team recovered a foreign-made pistol along with local weapons like 
chapati, ramda, knife, teta and drugs from their possession.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station M Saiful Alam confirmed the 
matter.

A case was filed against them on charges of possessing illegal drugs or arms, 
he said.
