Three commercial establishments fined Tk 1.75 lakh in Fatikchhari

CHATTOGRAM, June 17, 2025 (BSS) - Three bakeries were fined a total of Taka 
1.75 lakh for producing food products in a dirty and damp environment at 
Bibirhat Bazar of Fatikchhari Municipality in Chattogram this morning.
 
The mobile court led by Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive 
Magistrate Md. Nazrul Islam conducted the operation at Bibirhat Bazar.
 
The court fined Momtaz Bakery, Anil Bakery and Abul Hossain Bakery Taka 
50,000, Taka 75,000 and Taka 50,000 each for producing food products in a 
dirty and damp environment.
 
Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Md. Nazrul Islam said 
these establishments had been illegally producing bakery items for a long 
time. 

A team from Fatikchhari Police Station assisted in the operation.
