MYMENSINGH, June 18, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince has urged party men to win peoples' hearts and fulfill their expectations to triumph in next elections.

The historic meeting between Chief Advisor Professor Muhammad Yunus and BNP acting Chairman Tarique Rahman in London has ended the deadlock and uncertainty over elections and reforms, he said while exchanging views with Chhatra Dal leaders and activists at two meetings at Haluaghat Upazila in Mymensingh yesterday.

Political parties are now waiting at the station platform to board the election train, he said, adding that although the London meeting started to spread a good atmosphere of peace throughout the country, those who created complications and political crisis and deadlock are in turmoil and are eager to make new complications.

"They want to hold BNP on various pretexts. The people will stop those who want to hold BNP," he said.

The BNP leader told his part men that there is no room for excessive complacency with the inevitable victory of BNP in the next elections.

Referring to the strict attitude of Tarique Rahman regarding the party discipline violations, the BNP joint secretary general said, "Anyone who breaks discipline and tarnishes the image of the party will not be tolerated anymore."

Chaired by Haluaghat Upazila Chhatra Dal Senior Joint Convener MR Al Amin, the meetings were also addressed by Upazila BNP Convener Aslam Mia Babul, Member Secretary Abu Hasnat Badrul Kabir, Upazila Chhatra Dal Joint Conveners Sirajul Islam Shahin, Mirza Safayet Hossain Taieb, Mahaimenul Islam Robin and Municipal Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Tajbir Hossain Antar, among others, said a statement published in a Facebook post by BNP media cell.
