JHENAIDAH, June 18, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident at Bhayna village under Harinakundu upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Nazmul Huda, 29, son of Abdul Barik, a resident of  Bhabanipur village of the upazila.

The accident took place around 10.30 am when an engine-run vehicle hit Nazmul. He died on the spot, said Shahidul Islam Howlader, Officer-in-Charge of Harinakundu Police Station.
