2 held with phensedyl in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, June 19, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested two suspected drug peddlers and seized 397 bottles of contraband Phensedyl from Dainur Dakshinpara (Bochapukur) village of Kotwali police station in Dinajpur on Wednesday afternoon. 

 "Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1 from Dinajpur Camp of RAB-13 conducted a raid in the area, seized the Phensedyl and arrested two persons from the spot," said a press release issued here today.

The detainees were identified as Mozahar Ali, 42, of Dainur Dakshinpara (Bochapukur) village, and Md Shajahan Ali, 35, of Jamalpur Sarkuri village-both under Kotwali police station in Dinajpur.

The arrested persons and the seized Phensedyl bottles were handed over to Dinajpur Kotwali police station after filing a case in this connection for further legal action, the release added.
