CHATTOGRAM, June 19, 2025 (BSS) - Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) today arrested a listed criminal with a foreign-made pistol, four rounds of bullets, and two magazines in the city.

The arrestee was identified as Saidur Rahman Masum, alias 'Blade Masum', 28, son of Abul Kalam of the Kazi Office area.

Deputy Police Commissioner Hossain Mohammad Kabir Bhuiyan said at a press conference that acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a raid in the Rani Rashmanighat area under Pahartali Police Station around 12:30 am and arrested Masum.

Police also recovered a 7.62 mm pistol, four rounds of bullets, and two magazines from his possession.

Masum has long been involved in various types of criminal activities in the locality, said Kabir Bhuiyan.
