ZRF provides medical aid to combat dengue in Barguna

BARGUNA, June 20, 2025 (BSS) - The Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) has handed over emergency medical supplies to the Civil Surgeon's Office here to support ongoing efforts against the dengue outbreak.

The medical assistance included over 1,000 IV saline bags, essential medicines, mosquito repellents and awareness leaflets tailored to the needs of dengue patients.

A handover event was held on Thursday, attended by ZRF Barisal divisional coordinator Dr Syed Imtiaz Uddin Sajid, Dr Abdul Munem Saad and Dr Rakibuzzaman Khan.

The aid was distributed under the directive of BNP Acting Chairman and ZRF President Tarique Rahman. 

ZRF executive director Prof Dr Farhad Halim Doner oversaw the initiative in coordination with directors Prof Dr Morshed Hasan Khan (administration) and Dr Shah Muhammad Aman Ullah (programme).

The ZRF has long been conducting various social and voluntary programmes aiming to provide humanitarian assistance, BNP media cell said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.
