GAIBANDHA, June 20, 2025 (BSS) - Gobindaganj police here arrested six members of an inter-district dacoit gang while they were preparing for a robbery in the Char Matha area of Gobindaganj upazila on Thursday night. 

On information, police conducted a raid around 8:00pm and seized sharp weapons, tools for cutting mobile towers and devices used to break jewelry shop locks.

The arrestees are Jewel, Rakib, Sohag, Jahurul, Faruk and Ismail.

Officer-in-Charge Bulbul Islam said that the gang members were handed over to DB police in Naogaon for further interrogation.
