7-brokers sentenced to different terms of jail in Noakhali

NOAKHALI, Sept 21, 2025 (BSS) - Seven brokers were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment through a mobile court as RAB arrested them from 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital today.

The arrested are Milan, 35, Ratan, 38, Harun, 35, Sajib, 25, Swapan, 44, Masud, 45 and Akram Hossain, 25.

The RAB team conducted the operation based on the complaint that patients who came to the hospital for treatment had lost everything due to the violence of brokers for a long time.

RAB Company Commander Mithun Kumar Kundu said that such operations will continue in the future in the interest of medical services for patients.
