4 held with huge liquor, Tapentadol tablets in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, Oct 2, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in two separate raids seized 46.5 litters of brewed liquor and 22,170 pieces of Tapentadol tablets and arrested four presumed drug dealers from different places of Dinajpur district on Wednesday.
 
On a tip-off, a team of RAB-13's Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1 from Dinajpur Camp in a raid seized 46.5 liters of brewed liquor, two easy bikes and arrested three men from the Kotwali police station area of Dinajpur at 11:30 am, a press release said today. 
 
The detainees were identified as Laxman Hela, 25, of the Sweeper Patti area, Rais Uddin, 35, of the Fultala Bazar area under Kotwali police station and Md Fazlul Haque, 34, a resident of Muraripur village under Bochaganj police station of Dinajpur.
 
In another raid, the elite force team seized 22,170 pieces of contraband Tapentadol tablets from a house in the Kotwali police station area of Dinajpur district and arrested a woman in this incident at 07.05 pm. 

The arrestee was identified as Mst. Moyna, a resident of the Baluadanga area under Kotwali police station of Dinajpur district. 
 
After filing two separate cases in these incidents, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and seized drugs to Dinajpur Kotwali police station for further legal action.
