Snakebite kills electrician at Boalkhali

CHATTOGRAM (South), Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - An electrician died from snakebite at Charkhijirpur Satgariyapara village under Boalkhali upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was Md. Babul, 42, son of late Nurul Azim of the village.

After returning home from work around 8 pm, Babul was keeping tools in the bamboo fence of his house. At that time, he was bitten by a snake. 

Babul was then taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where he died around 1 am, said Nurul Alam, in-charge of CMCH Police Box.
