RAJSHAHI, March 16, 2026 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered an illegal foreign revolver and three rounds of live ammunition from Shah Makhdum area of Rajshahi city.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive at Dakshin Naodapara area under Shah Makhdum Police Station at 12:35 am today.
During the operation, one illegal foreign revolver and three rounds of live ammunition were recovered in an abandoned condition.
The recovered weapon and ammunition were seized in accordance with legal procedures in the presence of neutral witnesses in the area.
No suspects were arrested during the operation. However, RAB-5 is continuing its efforts to arrest those involved.
The recovered items have been handed over to Shah Makhdum Police Station for further legal action.
