KHULNA, March 19, 2026 (BSS) - Administrator of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) 
Nazrul Islam Manju today inspected the preparations for the main congregation 
of Eid-ul-Fitr at the Circuit House ground in the city.

After the inspection, he told journalists that the Circuit House ground is a 
historic venue where thousands of city residents offer Eid prayers every 
year. 

The administrator said preparations are almost complete and are expected to 
be finalized by this evening to ensure that devotees can perform prayers 
smoothly.

The Khulna City Corporation has taken adequate measures so that worshippers 
can attend the main Eid congregation comfortably and safely, he added.
 
Manju expressed hope that city residents would be able to celebrate the holy 
festival in a peaceful and festive atmosphere.

Divisional Commissioner Md Mokhtar Ahmed, Range DIG Md Rezaul Haque, Khulna 
Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Hasan, KCC Chief 
Executive Officer Rajib Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner ASM Jamshad Khondkar, 
along with officials from the district administration, KCC, KMP and media 
personnel were present during the visit.

The main Eid congregation at the Circuit House ground will be held at 8:00 am 
while the second congregation will be held at 9:00 am and the third at 10:00 
am at Khulna Town Jame Mosque.

In case of inclement weather, all congregations will be held at Khulna Town 
Jame Mosque at the same scheduled times. 

Additional congregations will also be held at 8:30 am at the Model Mosque 
adjacent to Khulna Alia Madrasa and at Boyra Model Mosque.
