RANGPUR, Apr 1, 2026 (BSS)- A book titled "Banglar Gorb Kazi Sheikh Reazuddin Ahmed (Historian, Social Reformer and Legendary Lathial)" by Dr Mohammad Shafiul Haque was unveiled at a ceremony in the city on Tuesday night.

Rangpur Sahitya-Sangskriti Parishad (RSSP) organised the publication ceremony followed by a discussion at its office on the Town Hall premises.

The advisers of RSSP, its former presidents, discussants, and the author of the book participated in the function. 

RSSP President Dr Nasima Akter presided over the function, moderated by General Secretary Mamun Ur Rashid.

Vice-president Sunil Sarkar delivered the welcome speech, while speakers, including Professor Mohammad Shah Alam and Professor Md Atahar Ali Khan, discussed the book.

Later, guests and organisers formally unveiled the book cover.

Author of the book thanked everyone present and made his speech at the event.
