Seminar on automated land management system held in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, May 21, 2026 (BSS) - A day-long seminar on the Automated Land Management System was held today at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office in Jamalpur.

The seminar was organised by the district administration under the Ministry of Land as part of a three-day Land Service Fair.

Additional Divisional Commissioner (Rev) of Mymensingh Jhon Kenedi Jambil attended the event as chief guest.

Speaking as the chief guest, he said the government has introduced automation in the land sector to ensure faster and hassle-free land services. Citizens can now access many services online from home without repeatedly visiting land offices, and can also obtain services through a single platform whether living in the country or abroad. 

He stressed the importance of learning and adapting to the system to fully benefit from its facilities.

The seminar was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Yusuf Ali, while Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rev) Sumi Aktar conducted the session.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Jamalpur Sadar upazila Md Tanvir Haider presented a PowerPoint presentation on the Automated Land Management System. 

Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Azizul Haque and Zonal Settlement Officer Md Tofazzal Hossain also spoke at the seminar.
