KHULNA, July 7, 2026 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-6 arrested an alleged drug dealer with 14 kilograms of cannabis during a special drive in the Katakhali area under Rampalupazila of Bagerhat district.

The arrested man was identified as Ibrahim Talukdar, 21, son of MilonTalukdar  a resident of Morrelganjupazila in the district.

According to a RAB-6 press release, a team of the elite force conducted the raid around 9 pm on Monday based on a tip-off and arrested Ibrahim with the contraband item

RAB said the operation was part of its ongoing drives under the government's "zero tolerance" policy against narcotics.

A regular case has been filed against the accused under the Narcotics Control Act with Rampal Police Station.

The arrested person, along with the seized cannabis, was handed over to the police station for further legal action. #
