DHAKA, April 21, 2026 (BSS) - A Dhaka court has ordered the seizure of income tax records of Lieutenant General (Retd) Md Nazim Uddin's wife, Aziza Taher and son, Mohammad Jayem Bin Nazim, in connection with an ongoing corruption investigation against him.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Faiz passed the order, allowing the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC)'s plea.

The application said an investigation is underway into allegations that Md Nazim Uddin acquired assets beyond known sources of income, and stressed that certified copies of his wife's and son's income tax records, including year-wise returns from 2013-14 to 2025-26 and related documents, are essential for a proper probe.
