DHAKA, Apr 11, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh has strongly condemned recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon, citing civilian casualties and the death of a Bangladeshi national, and warned the violence could undermine ongoing efforts toward regional peace and stability.

Bangladesh denounced the loss of civilian lives and injuries caused by the attacks, expressing concern over their impact on peace initiatives in the region, Bangladesh foreign ministry said in a statement here today.

The government also condemned the killing of Ms. Dipali, a Bangladeshi national, reportedly in an Israeli strike in Beirut.

It conveyed heartfelt condolences to her bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them during the difficult time.

The Bangladesh Embassy in Lebanon is maintaining contact with the victim’s family and will arrange the repatriation of her mortal remains when the situation permits, the release added.
