Shipping adviser mourns death of Nurun Nahar Begum

DHAKA, July 15, 2025 (BSS) - Adviser to the Ministry of Shipping Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. M Sakhawat Hussain today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Nurun Nahar Begum, mother of senior secretary of the ministry Mohammad Yousuf.

In a condolence message, Sakhawat Hussain, also the adviser of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Nurun Nahar Begum died at 4.50 am today at the age of 84 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Chattogram district.

She left behind three sons, six daughters and a host of relatives and admires to mourn her death.
