Bilquis Jahan joins Posts and Telecommunications Ministry as secretary

DHAKA, April 19, 2026 (BSS) - Bilquis Jahan Rimi has joined the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry as secretary.

She submitted her joining letter today to Faqir Mahbub Anam, Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, at the Secretariat here.

The minister welcomed the newly appointed secretary with flowers.

Earlier, on April 15, Bilquis Jahan Rimi was transferred from the Ministry of Textiles and Jute and posted to the Posts and Telecommunications Ministry.

Bilquis Jahan Rimi, an officer of the 17th batch of the BCS Administration cadre, has long experience in public administration.
