Anti-fascist movement families get PM's Eid gifts in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, March 19, 2026 (BSS)- Eid gifts from BNP Chairman and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman have been distributed among 14 families of activists who were victims of enforced disappearance, killing and disability during the anti-fascist movement.

Each of the families received Taka 4,000, making the total distributed amount Taka 56,000.

The gifts were distributed today by Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) and General Secretary of the City BNP at the BNP Office here. 

Bir Muktijoddha Advocate Ershad Ali Isha, administrator of Rajshahi Zila Parishad, was also present with BNP City unit President Mamun Or Rashid in the chair.

BNP Senior Vice-President Nazrul Huda, Vice-Presidents Waliul Haque Rana, Advocate Ali Ashraf Masum and Joynal Abedin Shibli and President of Boalia Police Station West BNP Shamsul Hossain Milu, among others, were present on the occasion.
