KCC Administrator inspects preparations for Eid congregation at Circuit House Ground

KHULNA, March 19, 2026 (BSS) – Administrator of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Nazrul Islam Manju today inspected the preparations for the main congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr at the Circuit House Ground in the city.

After the inspection, the KCC administrator told journalists that the Circuit House Ground is a historic venue where thousands of city residents offer Eid prayers every year. 

He said preparations are almost complete and are expected to be finalized by this evening to ensure that devotees can perform prayers smoothly.

He added that the Khulna City Corporation has taken adequate measures so that worshippers can attend the main Eid congregation comfortably and safely.
 
He expressed hope that city residents would be able to celebrate the holy festival in a peaceful and festive atmosphere.

Divisional Commissioner MdMokhtar Ahmed, Range DIG MdRezaulHaque, Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Mohammad ZahidulHasan, KCC Chief Executive Officer Rajib Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner ASM JamshadKhondkar, along with officials from the district administration, KCC, KMP and media personnel, were present during the visit.

The main Eid congregation at the Circuit House Ground will be held at 8:00 am. The second congregation will be held at 9:00 am and the third at 10:00 am at Khulna Town Jame Mosque.

In case of inclement weather, all congregations will be held at Khulna Town Jame Mosque at the same scheduled times. 

Additional congregations will also be held at 8:30 am at the Model Mosque adjacent to Khulna Alia Madrasa and at Boyra Model Mosque.
