SAFF U-17: Bangladesh take on India tomorrow

DHAKA, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS)- After a magnificent victory over host Bhutan in the first match, motivated Bangladesh U-17 women's football team face strong India in the big match of four-nation SAFF U-17 Women's Championship scheduled to be held Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu tomorrow (Friday).

The match kicks off at 3 pm Bangladesh time.  

The match kicks off at 6 pm Bangladesh time following the day’s another match between India and Nepal in the opening day’s fixture at 3 pm.

Team’s assistant coach Abul Hossain through a video message today said the girls skipped the field training and went through recovery session.
He said they are focusing on India match and girls are determined not to repeat the same mistakes they did in the last match against Bhutan.

Bangladesh will play their third match of the tournament against Nepal on August 24 at the same venue.
