Four more matches of national women's handball held

DHAKA, Aug 22, 2025 (BSS) - Four more second round matches of Ruchi 36th National Women's Handball competition were held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital today.

On the day, Panchagarh District Sports Association (DSA) beat Naogaon DSA by 34-11 goals after leading the first half by 19-5 goals and Gopalganj DSA defeated Bogra by 24-15 goals after trailing the first half by 10-11 goals.

Besides, Jamalpur DSA outclassed Naogaon DSA by 20-12 goals after leading the first half by 12-5 goals and Dhaka DSA overpowered Jessore DSA by 26-12 goals after dominating the first half by 15-4 goals.

A total of nine teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the second round.
