DHAKA, Aug 24, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Boys Under-15 team continued its winning run in the Women’s Challenge Cup as they registered their third successive victory, crushing Women’s Red Team by eight wickets at BKSP-3 ground today.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) arranged the tournament, comprising three teams—Women’s Red and Green and Boys U15 team—for women’s national team’s preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s World Cup.

It was U15 boys second straight victory over Red team, led by national captain Nigar Sultana Joty, having defeated them by 87 runs in the first leg. They also beat Green Team, led by Nahida Akter by 41 runs on DLS method in the first leg.

However, the U15 team bundled the Red for just 49 runs in 20.4 overs after which they overhauled the target in 11.5 overs, reaching 51-2.

Aminul Islam Adib and Sulaiman Islam claimed three wickets apiece to wreck havoc on Red team, who displayed a pathetic batting show. Only one batter from Red—Sharmin Sultana who made 18, could reach double digits.

Opener Abdur Rahman Irfan hit 29 not out to help the side ease past the target.
