Aminul greets women's kabaddi team on victory over Thailand

DHAKA, April 23, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque has extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt congratulations to all the players, coaches and officials of the Bangladesh women's kabaddi team for their 51-34-point victory over Thailand in Asian Beach Kabaddi 2026.

In a congratulatory message, the State Minister said this victory by a margin of 17 points is not just the result of a match, but rather it is a reflection of the girls' indomitable courage, hard work and fighting mentality.

He mentioned that the way the players raised the red-green flag on the sand has made the entire nation proud.

Aminul said every raid and tackle of the players has proven that the country's women are ready to face any challenge in the field of sports.

He expressed strong optimism saying this victory will encourage thousands of young women of the country to play kabaddi and pave the way for greater success in the future.

The state minister also mentioned that the team's dedication and team spirit will be an inspiration for the new generation.

He hoped that the team would continue its winning trend and make Bangladesh's name brighter in Asia.
