Two arrested in Parvez murder case in Bogra

BOGRA, March 15, 2025 (BSS) - The Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested two individuals involved in the murder of Parvez in Shahjahanpur, Bogra.

The cops arrested the convicts during a raid at Moynartek, Dakshinkhan Thana in the capital, on Thursday.

The arrested individuals are Md Hibru, 25, son of Mohammad Sayedul Islam, and Md Nisad, 20, son of Manik, both from the Chaklokman Kandakpara area of Shahjahanpur Upazila, according to Bogra police spokesperson ASP Suman Ranjan Sarkar.

The incident occurred on March 3 when the accused attacked 21-year-old Parvez, a mason, and his friend Atiqul due to a previous dispute.
The attackers stabbed Parvez in several parts of his body with sharp knives. Parvez later succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Parvez's father filed a murder case the following day, naming three suspects and some unknown individuals.

After giving confessional statements in court, the accused were sent to jail.

The law enforcers are working to arrest the remaining suspects.
