GAIBANDHA, Mar 16, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested former chairman of Sadullahpur Upazila and former general secretary of upazila Awami League Shariar Khan Biplob from upazila town area on Saturday night.

Officeer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadullapur Thana Taaz Uddin Khandkar confirmed matter today.

"A team of Sadar Thana police and Sadullapur Thana Police jointly conducted a drive around 10pm and arrested him," he said.

Biplob was accused of setting fire to BNP party office in the distrtict during July mass uprising movement.

He will be produced before the court today.
