CHUADANGA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - A day-long training workshop for Hajj pilgrims was held today in the district, with the participation of individuals traveling under both government and private management.

The workshop was jointly organised by the Islamic Foundation and the district administration at the Islamic Foundation's district office.

Deputy Director of Islamic Foundation Chuadanga AKM Shahin Kabir presided over the event, while Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahbub-Ul-Islam was present as the special guest. Medical Officer of Civil Surgeon Dr Shamima Yeasmin and Imam of Court Mosjid Mufti Ruhul Amin were present as instructors.

A total of 266 individuals, including 89 women, from the district will travel to Saudi Arabia this year for Hajj. Ten of these pilgrims will be going officially.
