BOGURA, April 17, 2025 (BSS) – Police has arrested four members of teenage gang, accused of attacking on police, here last night.

They were arrested from an abandoned house near Dottobari Bridge while they were taking hemp last night. 

Police identified the arrestees as - Al Amin Bepare alias SK alias Coca, Rohan alias Roni, Tanzil Islam and Towhid Islam. All of them are residents of North Cholaipara area of Bogura Town.  

Earlier on Tuesday night, the members of teenage gang attacked and injured two police officers of Phulbari police camp when they went to seize a motorcycle from an accident spot. The gang members also snatched the motorcycle and later on escaped.

Regarding the attack incident, the injured SI Abdur Rahman and ASI Ahammad Ali filed a case naming eight to ten and another 60 to 70 as unnamed.

Naruli police camp in-charge Sub-Inspector (SI) Najmul Haque confirmed the matter and said four members of teenage gang have been arrested. There are more cases against them.

“They are involved in crimes like snatching and drug abuse. We have handed them over to the Sadar police station,” he added.
