Woman electrocuted in Faridpur

FARIDPUR, April 17, 2025 (BSS) - A woman died of electrocution at Sohochrail village in Boalmari upazila of the district today. 

The victim is Mitu Begum, 32, wife of expatriate Mizanur Rahman Mizan of the village.

Quoting family members and locals, police said Mitu came in contact with a live electric wire while she was connecting a plug with an IPS. She died on the spot.
