MUNSHIGANJ, Aug 7, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion in a drive arrested a man along with a foreign-made pistol and bullets in Louhjang upazila of the district last night.

The arrested was Md. Shahanur, 53, son of late Siraj Uddin of Kharia village under Padma Bridge North Police Station. 

On a tip-off, a team of RAB-10 conducted a drive in Goalimandra area of the upazila and arrested Shahanur with a foreign-made pistol, five bullets and one magazine, said Taposh Karmakar, assistant director of the Rapid Action Battalion's Media Cell.

Arrested Shahanur is an armed terrorist and a drug dealer. There is one drug case remains pending against him. 

Officer-in-Charge of Louhajang Police Station Md. Harun Or Rashid said that a case has been filed against Shahanur under the Arms Act.
