NOAKHALI, Sept 21, 2025 (BSS) – A woman drug trader was arrested by police with14 kilograms (kg) of ganja in Sonaimuri upazila of Noakhali district.

The arrested was identified was Subarna Akhter (20), daughter of Abdul Khalek from Puran Chowara village of Cumilla district.

Additional Superintendent of Police of Noakhali district Md. Ibrahim told BSS today “On a tip-off, a team of law enforcement agency conducted a drive at the Econo Bus Counter near bypass Sonaimuri municipality. During the raid, 14 kg ganja was recovered from the two luggage bags carried by Subarna.”
 
“A case has been filed against the arrested in this connection.
