DINAJPUR, Nov 30, 2025 (BSS) - A special prayer was held in the district today for the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. 

The program was organized at the district town's Bandhan Community Center around 10.30 pm on Saturday under the joint initiative of the district BNP and Arafat Rahman Koko Smriti Sangsad. 

The doa and munajat were conducted by district BNP president Advocate Md. Mofazzal Hossain Dulal. 

Earlier, an introductory meeting of the Arafat Rahman Koko Smriti Sangsad district committee and prayers for the recovery of Begum Zia were held.

District president of Arafat Rahman Koko Smriti Sangsad Shamsul Alam Chowdhury Bablu presided over the meeting. Advocate Md. Mofazzal Hossain Dulal was present as the chief guest at the program. 

District BNP general secretary Bakhtiar Ahmed Kochi was present as the special guest. District BNP vice president Mahbub Ahmed, Akhtaruzzaman Jewel, Hasanuzzaman Ujjwal, joint general secretary Mohiuddin Mondol, organizing secretary Anisur Rahman Badsha, publicity secretary Babu Chowdhury, Municipal BNP president Ziaur Rahman Zia, District Weavers' Party president Rezaul Islam, District Weavers' Party general secretary Hasinur Rahman Hasu Khan, Municipal Weavers' Party general secretary Mehedi Hasan Sharif and a large number of leaders and activists of the district and municipal BNP and allied organizations were also present at the event.
