RCC Administrator exchanges greetings with devotees marking Sri Ramchandra’s birth anniversary

RAJSHAHI, March 27, 2026 (BSS) - On the occasion of Sri Sri Basanti Puja and the birth anniversary of Sri Ramchandra, Administrator of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC), Mahfuzur Rahman Riton, met and exchanged greetings with devotees at the Rajshahi Panchaboti Mahashmashan and Temple Complex this (Friday) noon.
 
Later, he inspected various parts of the temple complex and assured full cooperation from RCC in implementing necessary development activities.
 
During the visit, Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton said, “This country belongs to all of us. We must work together to move it forward. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is working for the welfare of the people. Setting aside all differences, we will work shoulder to shoulder to make Rajshahi even more beautiful.”
 
He added that maintaining the cleanliness of Rajshahi is a shared responsibility. He urged everyone not to litter indiscriminately and called on all citizens to act responsibly.
 
At the beginning of the program, the Administrator was welcomed with flower greetings by the leaders of the temple committee.
 
Among those present were Committee President Sushil Agarwal, General Secretary Sadhan Kumar Bhowmik, Joint General Secretary Swapan Roy, Treasurer Pranab Kumar Dey, and members Prashanta Kumar Saha and Ranjan Kumar Mitra.
